Every wedding is unique, every wedding is different, and no two weddings will have the same moments - each is inspirational, each is personal.

My photographic experience has been very wide spread and this is invaluable to me in the wedding industry.

I studied my degree in photography for 3 years during which time I worked in Italy for fashion photographer Filippo Caroti developing my studio experiences. This was my first real life taster of the world of fashion, Vogue and editorial and I LOVED it!

On returning I was fortunate to be able to go on to work for my all time photographic inspiration, Mario Testino. As experience goes in photography, I couldn't have asked for any more. With Mario I learnt not only further studio work, but invaluable knowledge of editorial, advertising, press and planning from someone that is world class.

I wanted to take all of these experiences and develop my own style and make Lucy Davenport Photography a known brand, so I decided to jump into the world of freelance. I'm very fortunate that I can call my passion my job and never forget this.

Now I'm a 'bridal' photographer. Not only do I offer complete wedding coverage and engagement shoots, but I also continue to work in bridal fashion.

For fashion I work with designers to shoot their seasonal lookbooks, campaigns and editorial spreads both in the studio and on location. I strive to capture the perfect image by ensuring all aspects of the shoot are carefully planned, working alongside other strong creatives.

At your wedding I am your eyes for the day, capturing timeless images as the events unfold. I ensure every aspect of your story is recorded, starting with the bride getting ready, down to the intricate details that you've put so much time and thought into preparing.

My experience allows me to approach the wedding with a relaxed and informal style, but keeping that eye for detail. I keep direction to a minimum to ensure I capture the true feeling of the day.

The biggest compliment I can have from a couple is that they didn't notice me!

I work in London and the Cotswolds but am willing to travel further afield.
