Craig and Odettes Chippenham Park wedding was my first opportunity I got to work with the wonderful Katrina Otter Weddings. Katrina is a real force in the wedding world. Her experience and knowledge of the wedding industry sees any bride feeling relaxed and grateful to have her by their side.
With the ceremony held in one of the most breathtaking churchs I’ve photographed in, it was the best possible start to the day!
How stunning is Odettes engagement and wedding band? Photographed here on the luxurious navy blue and gold foil invitation suite.
The florist created this beautiful display for the alter which framed the couple during the ceremony. These were moved to the reception venue too to maximize their appeal! Large hurricane lanterns also lined the length of the aisle.
Chippenham Park is a Grade II listed private house surrounded by beautiful gardens. It has everything a couple could wish for in a venue. The outdoor space, the use of the house for the drinks reception and a separate marquee for the wedding breakfast and evening party. A great mix of history and still having the ability to put your own personal stamp on things!
The beautiful grounds were the perfect backdrop for the bridal couple photographs. Fortunately the rain we’d had in the morning passed and we were able to make the most of this. As were the guests, who lined up outside for the confetti tunnel before heading down to the marquee for the wedding breakfast.
With the house behind you, the view down to the marquee is stunning – part of the journey of the day and creating flow and movement.
Inside the marquee, the blank canvas was brought alive by Katrina Otter and her team. The blush pinks and creams brought a luxurious feel to the space.
A floral frame surrounded the table plan as a feature for guests. The real wow factor though was the wedding cake which was the first thing they saw when entering the marquee. The three tiered square cake on a higher plinth to allow for cake pops to stand underneath. Florals cascading down the edge of the cake and all within the colour palatte. It was just perfect.
The head table was in the centre of the room so Craig and Odette were literally surrounded by their guests. It gave a very sociable atmosphere. The warmth was also created with the large quantity of candles on the tables.
Katrina and I have since worked on The Sirens Song bridal editorial together.
