Barnsley House was one of the very first venues that I photographed a wedding so the opportunity to return for this editorial filled me with excitement.
Jennifer Louise weddings approached me to join her at Barnsley House for an inspiration editorial shoot.
Barnsley House is a stunning English country garden wedding venue in the Cotswolds. Our aim was to create an intimate, laidback luxurious feel with a continual flow of the gardens throughout each element of the day.
The florals were a key aspect to the overall aesthetic of the shoot. Luxurious, loose flowing arrangements, complementing the beautiful country gardens. MonAnnie, makes the most incredible cakes and patisserie. I was delighted Fen was able to join us on this editorial. Like me, she is a preferred vendor with Wedding Sparrow. Head over to their vendor guide if you’re on your planning journey. Fen created a 4 tier cake with winding florals to complement the gardens, pergola and textures of Barnsley House. Having worked with Fen previously on the Horniman Museum editorial here, I knew her work well. This editorial has been featured on Wedding Sparrow, the inspirational wedding blog where I’m a preferred vendor.
