For anyone thats followed me on social media will know that a marquee wedding is my jam! I’m excited to share this real wedding with you which features a home garden marquee wedding.
I cherish every single enquiry I receive. I mean that. I’m flattered that you’ve found me, that you’ve stumbled across my little corner on this internet, that you’ve seen my work somewhere, heard about me from a previous client, been recommended to me by your venue or another supplier you’ve already hired. Its very humbling.
When Lizzie, who at the time was the Advertising manager at Conde Nast Brides magazine enquired, all I could say was wow! Lizzie worked for the most prestigious wedding magazine in the UK, a magazine that is known globally. Brides, which has sadly now folded was the holy grail for me. A reference, a goal, a bible!! Lizzies world was weddings, and she reached out to me to photograph her magical wedding day.
Lizzie wore a stunning Suzanne Neville wedding dress. Truth be told it reminded me of my own wedding dress, so I loved it even more! The intricate floral details on her Jimmy Choo shoes and cathedral length veil really elevated her bridal look.

I have worked with the Michael Van Clarke team on multiple Brides magazine events including Brides the Show, so it was a pleasure to have Summer there for the morning prep.

Supplier shout out
A special mention needs to be given to Nina from Big Day in a Box, the mastermind who worked tirelessly to create the most breathtaking setting. I had the honour of working with Nina for the first time on this wedding. I have since worked with Nina on another, equally brilliant marquee wedding.

A show stopping floral cloud was created by Sabine Darrall which gave the vast marquee a focal point above the unique circular bar.

Lizzies parents had worked tirelessly on the garden which provided an incredible setting for the marquee wedding. Good Intents are masters in their field and even incorporated the existing garden steps into this marquee wedding set up.

Who wants to join this bridesmaid squad?! I really need to buy one of these jumpsuits by Seren London. They have just launched a bridal range too (hint hint!), perfect for a evening party change of dress or a more relaxed wedding day / elopement….just make sure you invite me to shoot it!

Congratulations to the team on an incredible journey
and bowing out with the most incredible issue.
It is bitter sweet – an honour to see the real wedding published of Brides very own Lizzie, but so sad to see the end of this breathtaking magazine.
