Peonies are loved by all, with the exquisite scent, the gorgeous big ruffles and the various colours, whats not to love? With such a statement flower, it’s possible to have a bouquet with only peonies which is exactly what Lucys choice was for her wedding at Aynhoe ParkAynhoe Park, wedding venue Lucy Davenport Photography, Aynhoe Park, wedding, wedding venue, Oxfordshire, giraffe, floating giraffe, orangery Lucy Davenport Photography, Aynhoe Park, wedding, wedding venue, floral archPink bridesmaid dress, chandelierLucy & Simon fell in love with Aynhoe Park at first sight. The floral arch created the perfect frame for the couple whilst exchanging their vows. Full of Peonies, bombastic roses, Lisianthus, white Hydrangeas and a mix of foliage including eucalyptus and olive tree. Lucy’s parents have since installed this arch at their home and growing roses around it so it can remind Lucy & Simon of the special moments each time they see it. Aynhoe Park orangery, bridal entrance Aynhoe Park orangery, wedding ceremony Aynhoe Park orangery, wedding ceremony Aynhoe Park orangery, wedding ceremony, bride and groom kiss Aynhoe Park orangery, wedding ceremony, confetti Aynhoe Park orangery, bride with bridesmaidsThe gorgeous girls! Sprigs of Rosemary as a mark of remembrance were placed for each guest. Lucy Davenport Photography, Aynhoe Park, wedding breakfast, rosemary Lucy Davenport Photography, Aynhoe Park, wedding breakfast, rosemary Aynhoe Park has such versatility with so many rooms available and outdoor space. Lucy & Simon had an outdoor drinks reception on the south lawn. The guests then moved to the secluded outdoor seating area for the speeches. This was a first for me, as previously couples have always had the speeches indoors once seated for the wedding breakfast. This worked so well though and I highly recommend it if you’re lucky enough to have dry weather. Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding, Aynhoe Park, wedding venue, speeches, guests, outdoor wedding,Aynhoe Park, wedding, orangery, first dance, disco balls, Guests were invited back into the Orangery for the dancing, which had been transformed for the evening reception. Some advice we were given was to take some time out from the evening as a newly married couple and to separate ourselves from everyone else to simply be together and watch all of our loved ones enjoying our special day.
