The idea of this shoot came about from a collaboration between myself and Indulgence Catering, a boutique catering company that I work with often at weddings. One of our regular venues together is the indescribable Aynhoe Park so we just knew we had to use this as our location. We created a stunning, seasonal inspired shoot in the Orangery of Aynhoe.
Collaborating with local suppliers where possible, we had 2 styled tables – one for Spring/Summer and the other for Autumn/Winter.
Autumn/Winter was about incorporating textures and mood with a depth of colours. Spring/Summer was created using a feminine, delicate elegance with a pastel palette in contrast. These looks were also echoed in the hair and make up for the model, as well as the dresses used from Ellie Sanderson (Halfpenny London, Jenny Packham and Claire Pettibone). Spring/Summer was soft curls and plaits with the grace of soft lips and delicate skin tones. Autumn/Winter allowed us to introduce a stronger lip and more dramatic eyes, as well as a structured up do.

The seasonal foods and colours really set the tone for the tablescape in the Orangery at Aynhoe Park, Oxfordshire.
As your wedding photographer, its so important to capture every detail that has been considered for your wedding day.
The chocolate cosmos bouquet was a fabulous addition with the deep red silk ribbon. If you love chocolate and are getting married in the Autumn then this bouquet is for you! (It even smells of chocolate!).
Heavy, statement jewellery brought dark hues to the bridal look and complimented the red lip.
The contrasting look of Spring/Summer is soft, light and airy. Perfect for the Orangery with the vast windows flooding light in.
These are my favourite details. This season, succulents have been so popular. The trend is set to continue for the coming year as well. The miniature cloche made a stand alone floral detail into a feature. Antique silver cake forks with bespoke thank you stationery favours add sophistication and tie into the classic look.
This wedding cake has turned into an internet sensation and rightly so, just look at this 5 tier, hand painted floral wedding cake. It is utter perfection.
